Racedrops is about a young boy, bored senseless in a car, trying to make some form of fun for himself. Out the corner of his eye, he notices two swelling raindrops about to start trickling down the window and becomes grossly invested in their race to the bottom. But there's something else: we can see the race from the raindrops' perspectives too.
This project uses my own watercolour textures and is keyframed on After Effects, and might be brought into Toon Boom as well.

The first version of the opening, however there is still work to be done on the car movement during the pan down. I wanted to keep the design quite simple and clean, the colours used compliment each other and I've placed some brighter colours in the frame to break the darker building colours.

An image of the raindrops' perspectives. During the race itself, it will cut between the boy in the car and the raindrops on their "race track". Everything in the raindrop perspective - apart from props - will be blue.
